Limited License to use Site
Megathread grants you a limited license to access this site and its associated services. The license is strictly limited to personal use and strictly bars resale or commercial use of its content. No derivative use of the content is allowed. No screen scraping, data mining, use of robots or other similar data gathering tool may be used on this site. No portion of this site may be reproduced or exploited for any commercial use without the express written permission of Megathread Ltd.. This includes, but is not limited to, framing techniques or use of Megathread Ltd.'s name or trademarks as meta or hidden tags.
Any violation of these terms or unauthorized use of the Megathread.com website will immediately terminate this license and revoke any and all permission to access this website. User and Community Content
Megathread.com builds users and community profiles through online discussions, exchange, and feedback over 3rd party affiliated communities. If you do post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant Megathread Ltd. a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. You grant Megathread Ltd. and sub-licensees the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and that you will indemnify Megathread Ltd. for all claims resulting from content you supply. Megathread Ltd. has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content. Megathread Ltd. takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party.
Submissions
Any submission of suggestions, ideas, improvements, inventions or any other materials not specifically requested that are sent to Megathread shall be the property of Megathread without any compensation to you.
Profile Information
Megathread's objective is to provide people with a highly effective tool for social integration that protects personal information while creating a distributed revenue stream from advertising that is ethical, user friendly and does not distribute personal information. When you create an account on Megathread.com the following information is required for login and user recognition; a user name (which can be a pseudonym), email address (which will only be used for login purposes), and a password. Other optional information may include but not limited to, a title, profile photo, age, sex and postal code. None of this information will ever be released to 3rd parties without your consent. Additional information that is generated within your profile is created by our proprietary software. This includes keywords, as interests, generated from your part in 3rd party associated communities. Users maintain full control over these Interest Keywords, they can delete them, hide them, or place them into interests groups. Interest groups then allow users to set privacy settings for these grouped interests to public, group or private. Interest Keywords and interests groups are utilized by Megathread to form connections between other people, interests, discussions, groups, and communities through our proprietary social index. These interests and interest groups are also used for advertising purposes in a way that protects your privacy; none of this information will ever be distributed to 3rd parties for advertising or other purposes. This advertising model is based specifically upon Interests and interest groups, but can be better utilized through the optional use of a users sex, age and postal code. Since we do not require any other personal information that directly relates to you as an individual (i.e. real name, cell phone number, credit card, address, etc.) Megathread maintains personal while providing a superior model for social integration and advertising based around peoples interests.

Applicable Law

Disputes
Any controversies arising out of the terms of this Agreement or its interpretation shall be settled in Boulder, Colorado in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and the judgment upon award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
We each agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action.
Severability
If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
Copyright Infringement Reporting Procedure, DMCA reporting procedures
If you feel that any content hosted on Megathread.com infringes on your copyright, you may provide us written notice containing the following information to the address below.
